BIOGRAPHY

Mimmi was born 1988 in the south of Sweden as the third child of a photographer and a theater director. She spent her childhood carefully studying photographs and artbooks, trying to understand just what made the pictures and paintings so alluring. As she grew up her creative lust took its outlet in different forms such as writing abstract dramas and creating music but first and formost through drawing.

She studied classical guitar in high school, immensely enjoying the feeling of learning a piece by heart just to be able to sit in her room and play it to herself.

After high school she moved to Örebro to study culinary arts at Restauranghögskolan in Grythyttan. After years of working as a chef she decided to switch career and pursue her dream of working creatively in another way; through design, art and music.

Currently Mimmi is a digital designer that works both analog and digital as an artist as well as an UX/UI-designer. Besides pen, paper and her Nikon, she prefers to work in Adobe CC, Lightroom, Sketch, InVision and Figma.
